How I met Jared

I met Jared at some back country “Wookie” Jam fest. If you don’t know what “wook” means look it up. I tried his lobster Bahn Mi and he got me hook line and sinker! I know food, I been cook’n and workin restaurants for years. This boy’s food was magnitudes beyond your standard Carnival fair. Thing was he didn’t have much going for him as far as branding was concerned.

So let us continue on with this funny story. did you know this was a comedy? I was brought onto this Festival to paint a live mural over the weekend. So I was muraling cooking up something spicy as I do. Some home boy started hanging around feeding me this home brew apple pie moon shine to coerce me into giving him this mural for literally free LOLOLOL. So as the night progresses I get a little tipsy. I start frequenting Jareds stand. Believe it or not in a 3-4 hour window I hit it 3-4 time. Next thing I know I’ve tried 4 out of 6 of his menu items. Me and Jared are really hitting it off. Next thing I know I’m drunkenly drooping over his grill, hanging off of his easy up professing my love for his food. “Jared. This shittt is world classss” I say. “buuut your art leaves room to be desired. I’m gonna fix your shit up, give me keys to the kingdom and I’m gonna make it happen.”

Anyway I’d say close to a year passed but we eventually did start talking about doing some branding for him. I did the logo then later on he put me up in Maine for 3 weeks, fed me some amazing food and I did the thang.

These are the moments I live for. Chance encounters at random places we never would even thought to go. I love making this beautiful art but there’s usually just as beautiful a story to go with the art

I’ll always have this memory! thanks so much for being such a rad dude Jared!

Testimonial

Stephen and I have collaborated on a numerous projects, ranging from small projects like designing a logo and branding designing to more extensive endeavors like creating and painting a large mural on a food truck. Regardless of the project's scale, Stephan's dedication and attention to detail have consistently stood out.

The consultation process is an important aspect of Stephan's work. He takes the time to get to know the people he is working with to showcase the person behind the artwork. He takes every piece he works on as seriously as the last and puts 100% of himself into it. I have thoroughly enjoyed every experience I've had working with him and look forward to working with him again in the future.
